It was my first time traveling with my Grandma Chan (my parents were there too) in a while and wow... sure is different than traveling with friends! Things were much slower pace for the most part, unless we were getting a driven tour of the city since walking long distances is difficult for my grandmother. We also ate plenty of Chinese food (Grandma: "Always bread here, huh?" Me: "Because it's American food.") and hung out with our relatives who I had never met. I think the highlight of the trip for my grandma was gambling at Harrah's Casino. She returned to the hotel room around 3:30am, and then probably stayed awake until 4:00am, sitting on her bed, counting her money.
